Is Ten Year Old Too Young To Identify As Bisexual?

I'm ten years old, female. I feel very attracted to both genders. Girls are caring loving and sweet. Boys are kind, rough, and cute. I like girls because you can say anything to them and they usually won't care. I like boys because they're protective and make me feel safe. I'm just not sure if I'm too young to decide my sexual orientation yet. It might just be a phase or even puberty but I don't know. I didn't grow up around too many gay/lesbian people so I don't know where I would get it from but if I am bi, I'm kind of proud to be a part of such a huge movement. Any answer really would help me lol thanks

You are far too young to be sure yet. It's natural to be attracted to both sexes at your age, you'd be surprised how many are. You are also too young to be going through puberty, although it's not impossible. You will have many friends of both sexes and they will come and go, that's the way of it. It goes on throughout life. Some friends will be good friends and will always be so, some will be friends for a short while and move on, as will you in their lives. Enjoy the company of both sexes and be assured that you are normal. Enjoy your childhood and what will be will be.

I have a niece who was heterosexual, had a few boyfriends, then decided she was a lesbian. A few years later she is heterosexual again.

Who knows what the future holds.

Chick as you go through life you will discover that when it comes to people, there is no such thing as normal. What is normal for one is not for another.

I'm an outcast... I don't believe in normal either. We all have our own little worlds that are our normal and when someone doesn't fit into any of the other people's worlds, they make their own. I have my own world, the other kids have theirs.
