Authors And Poets Quiz
10 Answers
Here's another of the occasional quizzes that a former neighbour sets in aid of charity. If you'd like to enter please send £1.00 with the answer sheet to the address below.
A friend says it's the most difficult quiz in the series. She still has three answers to go. I still have 10 to go! I have two possible answers for a couple of the clues. Several friends and family members are helping but we've ground to a halt.
The clue is for the SURNAME. The numbers in brackets indicate the number of letters in the name. £10.00 will be awarded to the contestant with the highest number of correct answers corresponding to the answers already decided, and £5.00 to the runner up. In the event of a tie the prize winners will be chosen by lot. Please return your entries to Eric Cripps, The Poplars, Bath Road, Cricklade, SN6 6AX by 9th February 2016. The judge's decision is final. Please send a S.A.E. if you would like a copy of the answers. For an entrant not including a S.A.E. it will be assumed that they wish any prize money won to be donated to the charity named below. E&OE.
