Song I Heard Today In Matalan

I tried to remember the lyrics (what I could hear) but I can`t remember the exact words. Some lyrics were something like "make the clean unclean or into the unclean" and "I find myself at your window/brings me to your window". I have googled but that takes me to hip hop gangsta stuff. This song was a mellow sort of Indie band song. Any ideas?

No idea 237Sj but it brings to mind a similar problem I've had for years. I remember hearing a song on 'Sing Something Simple' that I've been unable to trace.

It was a tongue in cheek comedy song and included in the lyrics was something like "the baker want's a bit, the milkman want's a bit, the butcher want's a bit" It would be nice if anyone has any ideas what its title is.

I don`t think it was a cover togo. The track was followed by a Coldplay song that sounded authentic

Maybe the WONDER sounded like WINDOW. They only mention UNCLEAN once though.

Not quite indie but maybe it was a cover version- I have heard an acoustic version recently

Wolf - sorry, missed your question. No my cat didn`t have a white nose but she did have a white moustache which looked like she had been drinking milk. I signed up to sponsor an elderly cat for £25 per month at the local rescue centre yesterday - as I can`t have one of my own I thought it would be nice to buy the food for a homeless one that nobody wants.
