Hello everyone. I have recently bought an Ipod nano 4GB black. Despite recent news stories, the screen has not cracked, but the only thing is the weedy battery- it will last barely more than one hour after a full charge. I checked Apple's website, which states it could last UP to 15 hours. How can I get the battery changed- has anyone else had this problem?

- did you give it a full charge when you first got it? it really needs to gave a good long first charge
- apple's quoted times assume you just press play on the thing. if you do this, the battery life will be better than if you're constantly pressing skip.

if you're just listening normally to it, and have been fully-charging it, then the battery is probably faulty. my friend had a faulty iPod mini with the same symptoms as you; they changed it with no problem.
I would agree, the battery sounds definitely b*ggered. Take it back and get a replacement.

Good luck.
