This morning listening to a record on radio 2 I realised I had the biggest grin on my face. I was listening to Running Bear sung by Johnny Preston. I hadn't realised it was written by the Big Bopper.
I was surprised I still knew all the words. Sad eh!

Thank you all, some interesting postings. Even though the two lovers die the whole tone of the song was happy. Well it made me happy it was such a bouncy beat and so catchy.

Caran, I remember that song well from when I was a kid ( two way family favourites on a Sunday morning mainly ), I always thought of it has an happy song in those days.
