A colleague may have a blurred memory but is trying to remember the name of the following girl group;
60s era
All white, probably from Liverpool
Sang and danced regularly on Ready-Steady-Go
Thinks they were connected to a specific business
May have been called the 'something' girls

any ideas?

Apparently the Vernons Girls appeared on music shows "Wham!" and "Cliff!". So it's probably the right group, but the wrong show.
The Breakaways appeared on RSG regularly and were connected with the Vernons Girls.
