As for his teeth, I would imagine he has had some caps fitted, but they do give him that 'slushy' way of speaking, making him a member of the same club as John Craven, Rula Lenska, David Jacobs, and a few others I can't remember right now.

trt - //## I didn't see the programme but surely he can't be as bad as Scott Walker (who lost the ability to sing a couple of decades ago), can he? ## //
I think Scott Walker belongs to the same club as artists like Kevin Rowland - they are seen as some sort of mystical above-it-all 'artist' whose output must of necessity be fawned over and lauded without question.
The reality is, their best work was decades ago, and they are churning out utter bilge and living on their (currently undeserved) reputation.
Remember everyone in the media going to paroxysms of ecstasy when Kevin Rowland released an album under the auspices of Alan Mcgee, and he appeared on stage at a festival in a dress? The album sold under a thousand copies - might even have been under five hundred, and Rowland was bottled off stage.
The public cannot be fooled to that degree!
