Wednesday. The wee bit of frost that came down yesterday evening has gone and it's comparatively warm 5°C outside this morning. Heavy dew though.

Hospice this morning and a chest x-ray this afternoon. Such fun I have!

Have a happy day everyone.

Oh...hope there's nothing wrong.

I have my daughter here at the mo. She has to go back to London today to do her final shift at work before moving back here :-) so today will be spent sorting out her bedroom which has become a bit of a dumping ground.

Morning ummmm. xxx No, nothing wrong my lovely. Thanks. The x-ray is routine as I haven't had one for quite a long time. The visit to the hospice is part of a course of therapy I'm having for the depression I never knew I had! :o}

Your daughter coming back home! Wonderful! :o}
It is wonderful. She moved back to Ireland when she was 16, done a couple of years in Oz, back home to Ireland, then to London, back home again and then back to London. Her dad is here working (no work back home) so she's decided she's moving back here. She's already got a job and an offer of another one. The downside....she's only gave me a weeks notice!

'morning, just about light enough to see the Seafront, cold but no frost and dry, not bad so far. Dogs fed and watered, coffee brewing
Brewing coffee sounds good. We bought the MIL a coffee machine and only gave it to her yesterday. We spent an hour tasting various coffees. OH doesn't drink coffee and he was shaking by the end of it :-)

She's certainly seen the world ummmm! You'll have to change up a gear os six to get her room ready! But I'm sure you don't mind that. :o}

Morning balders. All organised. Well done mate.

How's herself this morning?
Question Author
That's wicked ummmm! ;o}

She had a quiet day yesterday, wants me to take her shopping today for a change of scene, only groceries, said I'll do it but she's insisting she's coming along.
Question Author
Let her go with you, but make her stay in the car balders.
Baldric....go with it. A stay in hospital is mind numbing.
Question Author
balders you could combine with a wee treat, like lunch out or something.

We'll see how she's feeling a bit later on, no sign of life atm.
Question Author
Let her sleep as long as she can, all part of the recovery process.

And it's very peaceful here in the kitchen as well ;o)

A bonus mate! ;o}
Morning all, it's beneath 5 here or feels like it....had a flare up of my gout and pretty bad though I may have peaked yesterday evening - just wondering if it coincides with this detoxing of the liver with a dry Jan and the cold weather....
Good morning everyody.
I thought alcohol made gout worse?
Morning Paddy...

Morning DT. Impossible to say what triggers it. Allopurinol keeps it in check.
