Talking of trivia involving Dave Dee - he was a police cadet in 1960 and attended the car crash that killed Eddie Cochran and gave Gene Vincent a limp for the rest of his life.

Dave Dee helped to get the equipment from the car driving the two musicians back to the police station, and helped ensure that Cochran's guitar was returned to his family after the star died of sustained head injuries.
