Sunday. A bit cool this morning, after yesterday's bright and sunny start to the weekend, the wind had still got teeth though.

The show last night was wonderful. We were in the second row, so had a good view. Maddy, although about 40 years older, still has the magic, she, Giles and Hannah held us all enthralled with the mixture of music and styles, I think Hannah is Maddy's granddaughter. Although I could be wrong. Very pretty and very talented, A very good voice too, also a very good clog dancer. She writes a lot of her own music and songs, some of which were sung and played. there was none of the old songs of Steeleye span days, all new songs and lots of humour. Just as last time I saw her, Maddy had the audience in the palm of her hand. Giles is also a talented singer and musician, playing the violin, lute and bagpipes. We were lucky enough to have a chat with them during the break in the two hour show. I bought a double CD of Steeleye Span.
We got home close to midnight after an excellent evening.

just the usual running around today, then see what the weather is like, I might get some more done in the garden.

Have a happy day everyone.

Hi Eleena, hope you are well.

Yes Boaty, flat out like a lizard drinking.

Another six months estimated before the Blaze Aid camp packs up and goes.
I'm great waterman,
I went out yesterday for a nice meal/ drink. I've just opened a card off my son for mothers day, it made me smile, I think his new girlfriend has had a positive influence on him. Strange how a woman does these things isn't it? :0)

'morning all, we're still sat up chatting, didn't even realise what the time was 'til GMEBs popped up. It's black as yer hat at the moment but it's a pleasant temperature, no heating needed.
Dogs are sound out in the corner of the kitchen, it would be cruelty to put them out atm.

Morning balders. Just getting light along the hilltop now. Can't see any signs of air movement, so it could be warmer than yesterday.
Not on long, things to do that I didn't do yesterday, then out to see mum, visit to the cemetery, then we have our granddaughter.

Yep, yesterday was a good one, lots of outdoor activity, got a lot of things done, kn*****ed the dogs, which takes a bit of doing and generally enjoyed.
They've had good exercise then!
Question Author
