The Best Street Guitarist Ever
Such is this man's reputation.
Wow! As a run of the mill 'plonker' (so to speak), I'm impressed!

Talbot - This is how stupid petty nasty pointless thread-destroying rows start.
I have expressed an opinion.
You have called it a 'sweeping statement by anyone else'.
I have explained that it is not, and explained why.
Now let's leave it there shall we? We lost a thread over the weekend because of a pointless row that started just like this - I am not going to get drawn in again.

Naomi - //Your point being? Katie Hopkins gets paid rather more than you for her offerings - and we all know what you think of those. //
One of the many differences between myself and Ms. Hopkins is that I know what I'm talking about - I don't leap into knee-jerk scatter-gun statements simply to provoke reactions and kid myself that I don't care about being hated by large sections of the public.
My views are published in outlets that are rather more intelligent than that.

That's debateable. You know no more about music than anyone else ... less in fact than many, since you don't play an instrument, you don't read music, and you therefore you cannot possibly understand the way in which music is constructed.... but we've had this conversation before. I, as just a humble 'plonker', think this man is incredibly skilled. I bow to his expertise.

We have, and once again you derive conclusions which are not valid from what I have said.
I have said that I write about guitars (electric and acoustic) and bass guitar, and drums, and I don't play any of those. I do actually play piano, have passed Grade Four, and am resuming when I retire and have lessons, so I have a grasp of how music is constructed.
I do read music, I have never stated that I don't - but don't let something you have made up stop you from having a pop.
But as I have opined previously to be a writer and a critic does not require direct experience of a subject in order to obtain and deliver expertise about it.
I don't imagine that every art critic is an exhibited artist, I know that not every parliamentary sketch writer has been an MP, neither has every theatre critic been a professional actor, and finally, in case you don't grasp the point I am pretty sure that you have confirmed that you are not a Muslim, but that has never hidden your light under a bushel on here when Islam is discussed, and you never waste any opportunity to remind everyone of your vast education on the subject.
So using your logic, you will have to cease holding forth about matters Islamic, because you are not a Muslim, and therefore cannot know of what you speak.

He is incredibly skilled, in that we are in agreement.
Does that mean we are back on the thread again?
Let's hope so, for everyone's sake.
