Saturday. Lots of evil looking cloud lurking with intent. More wet stuff on it's way. After torrential rain yesterday afternoon the sun came out and it stayed dry for the Summer walk at the hospice, it was rather on the cool side though. Lots of lovely people took part and enjoyed the wonderful views across the valleys, lots of dogs enjoyed the walk too. I saw them all out and I saw them all back, lots of happy people. the barbie and bar did a roaring trade, the live music was very good, the group consisted of patients past and present of the hospice. It was good see some familiar faces. There was a prize draw, so I had a couple of tickets to put another couple of quid in the kitty, much to my surprise one of the girls came to find me to tell me I'd won a prize. A meal for two complete with a bottle of wine at an upmarket restaurant. I got home at about 2330. A most enjoyable evening.
Have a happy day everyone.

My daughter is rostered to work, don't suppose she feels like working either! So, little un due about 7.00am. Come to think of it, I don't suppose little un wants to wake up either. I'm having a good groan this morning aren't I! ;0)
Morning, ummmm, boaty, eleena and seekerz.
I thought it must be at least 7 when I woke up, but no, the unholy hour of 5. I'm trying to catch up on lost sleep from Thursday night, but I feel this is a politics-free zone :) so won't mention anything like that. Bit of relief, tbh.
Weather stuck, as it's been for a while. I might have to clean all the muck off my car, brought on by the gales a few days ago.

Morn Boaty and all, glad you enjoyed your night out, well it's all over now thank goodness you get sick of it all, I notice on the news this morn they are now having the support of the DUP, that should be interesting after the way Clegg was treated, as you say rain again today and over the W/End, I'm going to look at a camper van valet this morn, I understand the owner is very fussy, not half as fussy as myself regard cleanliness, so that should be a challenge.
Morning TWR. I get fed up with all the hype over the election. Yesterday it was wall to wall election special all day on almost every TV channel ever invented!
We used to have a VW camper when the boys were young. We had some lovely times visiting some lovely places in it. I remember one particular time we went flying up Porlock Hill, passing many cars at the side of the road with bonnets up and steam everywhere. The air cooled flat four took it all in it's stride. :o}
