Does anybody know the song name that is played at the end of Finding Nemo and this week on Lost.

I think its called 'au del� de la mer'

When was it first released and who sang it?

Hi Coobeastie - its a song called Beyond the Sea which was sung by Bobby Darin as the film about his life is called the same.  Am not sure if there was an earlier version though.  Google Beyond the Sea - that might help.

its originally a bobby darin song called beyond the sea and robbie williams sang it on the soundtrack of finding nemo .

When I had piano lessons when I was a youngster I played this song, La Mer and I loved it, but I can't remember who wrote it. The words were definately in French. I do like Beyond The Sea by Bobby Darrin, but I would also love to have the original sheet music like I used to have.

Yippee Coobeastie,  I did a bit of research and look what I found here.  Read the review and it tells you that Beyond The Sea is an adaptation of Charles Trenets La Mer!  Right, I'm off to find a copy of the original................

Hi Coobeastie, I loved 'La Mer' sang on Lost last week (this week?) and so got hold of a copy by Charles Trenet (as suggested by Spudqueen) - there are so many versions but this one is really good. I prefer a female vocal and so found one by someone called Francoise Hardy. Listen to it all the time now! xxx
