Name Of This Ballroom Dance ......

What is the name for this sequence type dance where 2 ladies and 1 man dance/march slowishly around the floor, man in the middle of the 2 ladies, they do a little dance and then the man moves on to the next 2 ladies and so on, andwhat type of music would suit this dance. Thanks for any help.

I think we did it to Little Brown Jug

After a little research, I think it may be a 'Russian Ballet Ballroom Dance', the dancers saunter around the floor to a tune similar to Teddy Bears Picnic or Nellie the Elephant, the 2 ladies do a little inter twining, then curtsy to the man and they move on the the next man, and so on.

It sounds a bit like The Dashing White Sergeant. 2 lines of 3 dancers move progressively round the room in opposite directions. On one side is a man between 2 ladies, & on the opposite side is one lady between 2 men. Having done their reel-type routine, one line passes underneath the raised arms of the opposite line, & they move on to repeat the routine with the next line coming towards them.

No kettledrum, its not that one, I can't find a video to show you it but I have seen the dance, as described in my earlier post, thanks anyway.
