Thinking About Moving And Going To College In Denmark Or Sweden?
6 Answers
Hello, everyone. So I have done a lot of research on Sweden as well as Denmark and both places are really beautiful but I guess I just need more information from people who have actually visited one of these places or have lived there (or are currently living there) I am of college age (20) and I'm thinking about going to college abroad. I'm kind of confused about the whole visa thing and I don't know if I would have to leave or if I would be able to stay because I would be attending college.
What Is It Like?
How Are The People?
Cost Of Living?
Pros and Cons?
Diversity of cultures and acceptance?
Do I Need To Apply For Citizenship Before Attending College or Is A visa enough?
Thanks guys, much appreciated!

(i.e.you don't require either a visa or citizenship). The current Brexit negotiations will determine whether or not that right will continue to exist but it's likely that studying within the EEA will still be possible.
If you're from outside the EU (which you're use of the term 'college', rather than 'university' suggests might be possible), we'll need to know where you're from before we can advise you about any visa requirements.

Just to state the blindingly obvious . . .
Most colleges/universities in Sweden and Denmark deliver all of their education in Swedish or Danish. So (unless you speak one or both of those languages fluently) are you sure that the type of course you'd want is actually available in English in those countries?
