She has consistently been one of the most successful female artists for over 10 years now. II can reel off the names of 10 songs of hers but sjhe's probably had well over 20 top ten singles including some number ones - My Umbrella, SOS, Work (with Drake) , Pleas eDon't Stop the Music...

I'd listen to her via YouTube though before deciding on buying a ticket to see her- and tickets would be very expensive I'm sure

Quite a few top artists have chosen to perform with her so she is respected within the industry I think- Coldplay, Drake, Calvin Harris

I liked the video of SOS (sampling Soft Cell) but it wasn't her best song

A lot of her videos have 'explicit' warnings though so 'Take Care' (that's a Rihanna/Drake song by the way)

Thanks for your views, I tried one of Mamya's videos and it's sure not my kind of music, but she appears to be well liked.
I'm thinking of making a visual reference to her in an art work and I'd rather her not be naff.

She's like a lot of similar artists in the fact she is always changing her style and appearance, recently turquoise hair for example - a real butterfly.
