It's Happened Again!!!!!

We are home after an 8.25 hour journey home. Absolutely shattered.
But!!!!! We come in the kitchen and find a great pool of water in front of the fridge freezer. The freezer has defrosted itself again. About £200 worth of food ruined. Umpteen packs of prawns, smoked salmon, crab, scallops, lamb chops, leg of lamb, chicken etc.
I had been squirrelling stuff away for ages for OH 80th birthday party.
The strange thing is the fridge was still ok only the freezer had defrosted.
This is either the 4th or 5th time this has happened to us.
Also the tv recorder had not recorded anything for five days.
So no Corrie to make things worse!
I don't think I'm going onholiday again ever!!
Everything is crumbling around us. The water softener has packed up. My mobile will not connect it has said unable to connect to network.
Had problems with iPad. What else will happen?

Yes the same fridge freezer. Previously it was the door that opened itself but this time the door was shut. I have checked its neighbours and no body has had a problem.

I'm presuming Caran will do that Gulliver, as she has claimed in the past - my worry would be how the company will take it as it has happened before with the same appliance.

Still worth trying.

Not been able to claim for the last two times this has happened. There is a £250 excess so no claim for the food. I did phone this morning and they will not cover the cost of a new freezer as we do not know what happened. Definitely not a power cut.
