...multiple organ failure and dementia. I was never a big fan, but wouldn't wish that on anyone. Sad.

Such a shame, I quite liked him as a person.
Wow, not good. Very sad indeed.
Oh no. Loved David Cassidy. My sister loved him more. So sad.
Mrs v loves him very sad
How sad for anybody, any family. I do remember him vaguely as an OK sort of guy. A dreadful set of circs. to come together, so sad.
I can only wish him a speedy release from pain.x
Sad to hear this.
I met him once; he seemed a really nice guy.

We never know what is ahead of us. :-(
Sad way to end his life but, arrested three times for drink driving between 2010 - 2014. I remember reading about that, no excuse doing that.
O_G I agree we don't and it's best we don't or each day would be a bigger battle.
Sad news indeed.
Dave's had a good life and made a lot of people happy, including me.
Seeing this reminded me of Susan Dey.

Every cloud and all that, here's hoping it's painless.
How was he when you met him Jno? I was a massive fan in the day. From some stage appearances etc over the last 12 years, his behaviour was erratic apparently.
oh, this was at a do way back in about 1970, he was young and good looking and really quite polite and chatty. I didn't notice him drinking to excess, but I suppose I wouldn't have.
Thanx jno x I'll keep that nice memory :-)
He was my favourite singer in my teens. Had his pics all over my bedroom wall. Still very fond of his music.
Hi Cupid :-) Me too ! Wall was covered! He seemed to big himself up in later years though,my sister was at a 70s concert,12 years ago, where he tried to "talk" through the performance.
I watched The Partridge Family every week too...;-)
As an aside, Bunk, the penny just dropped. :-)
