delboy, in your link it says that Columbo's first name was never revealed, they are wrong his name was Frank.

I dont know whether this link will work and it is still difficult to see but if you look closely you can pick it out.

When Trivial Pursuit came out a court case ensued by a guy who said it was based on his trivia book, and he could prove it beacause he put a deliberate error in his book (like mapmakers used to, to ensure copyright)

The error was Columbos 1st name (he quoted Phillip) but this was made up to prove any copying of the trivia facts.
