Drying You Hair ,how Much Would You Pay

I realise that many of the men among us have no need for a Hairdryer but how much would you pay and really how can Dyson justify £238 for a hair dryer oh and a Platinum Bag (whatever that means) for that price you could purchase a Dyson Vacuum cleaner the heat given off would surely enable most to dry their hair and you could clean the house & the car ,on the other hand a Hairdryer doe's the obvious expensive ,how do they justify the price ,do you have one what is it like ,I am intrigued

i have a cheapo one not a dyson, can't understand why people like dysons at all they are ugly bits of machinery and not always do what they say they can do.

If it was guaranteed to give me silky straight hair I'd pay that much for a hairdryer.
Don't know if it will though, so I'm not going to take the risk of spending that much money.

I like the look of my Dyson vacuum cleaner , but I have to cut my hair out of the brush every other time I use it, even though it's designed for homes with animals shedding hair.

Chris, save yourself some money, go out with your OH & stick your head out of the window, dry in 5 mins at no cost.

Islay is right.....people who sell things don't have to justify anything....neither do the people who buy them. I have got a Dyson vaccuum cleaner and it was expensive but its excellent.

if one can afford to spend that amount of money, then do so without criticism from others.

My wee hair-dryer cost about £35, but at various times of the day my own body can dry my hair lol

No manufacturer needs to justify the cost of their product tho, whether it be hairdriers/vacuum cleaners/cars.

I have thick waist length hair and my dryer cost nothing because I never use one..... Hairdriers can do real damage to hair. Total waste of money....and no I have never caught a cold by going out with wet hair..it soon dries!

Nuffink. My hair dries in a flash. If I do use a drier it ends up looking like a cross between a fog and a haystack.

I would pay a couple of hundred pounds for a dryer if I was guaranteed to get my hair as smooth as the hairdresser does. It's all in the technique I think, not the dryer.

I'd love to try one, to see how it dries my (very, very short cropped) hair. I think short hair needs more fancy drying than long hair, not that I do fancy drying. I'd shave my head if it was acceptable and didn't make a person look as if they were having some severe medical treatment. I can't abide faffing around with my hair. I'd love to be able to just wipe my head with a flannel..
