Your post about funeral songs reminds me of my uncle's funeral last Wednesday. I had to suppress a giggle as his coffin was carried from the church. Nobody else seemed to have noticed the humour in being carted off to a crematorium to the strains of 'Smoke Gets In Your Eyes' ;-)

As I've tried to indicate above, I'm always prepared to give different music a try but I didn't need to try that one. I know that it's one of the few music tracks that I totally detest and which get me reaching for the 'Off' button as soon as they come on the radio.

I've got nothing against a bit of rapping. (Indeed, there are several rap songs, or tracks which use rapping in them, that I really like). But I just find everything I've ever listed to by Twenty One Pilots (and I really have tried much of their stuff) to be boring, unoriginal and unmusical. I simply don't 'get it'. Sorry!

I have teenage Grandsons and we like to sing along to stuff together.

I introduce them to older classics and they teach me new stuff, works well.

My oldest grandson (who's actually the son of a guy who I've always treated as my own son, even though he's not biologically) became a teenager just over an hour ago.

Along with the three boys and one girl they keep me young in mind at least.

Having taught teenagers, Mamya, I know that the vast majority of them are lovely people (and often far nicer to know than many adults) and I've actually no doubts at all that young Logan will remain as wonderful as he's always been ;-)

I'm sure that's so Chris, they have their moments but good gracious so did we - I had plenty of times not liking my Daughters at times, but love endures.
