Zeinab Badawi interviews Martin Luther King's daughter. No respecter of persons our Zeinab. Just like Stephen Sackur she doesn't hold back from asking all the tough questions, even when addressing the daughter of a saint. (Anybody see Sackur and honest and entertaining lefty Steven Pinker last night, by the way?)
On the issue of race relations fifty years on from her father's murder Zeinab asks the interviewee to what extent the Black Lives Matter movement may have helped or hindered the cause, citing the infamous war chant "pigs in a blanket - fry 'em like bacon".
Dr. Bernice King struggled with that one. To be honest I felt quite sorry for her. But, to quote Jordan Peterson, "More power to your elbow, Ms Badawi".
