Tbh a journalist mate of mine who writes obits said she was failing last sept and when she does go there will be some revelations (he wasnt drunk enough to twll me what). Great artist. I hope it is peaceful.

I saw her in the 70s in London; she was fantastic. But a mate of mine saw her in New York only a few years ago and reckoned she was awful; completely lost her pitch and phrasing.
