An Early Glass Of Red....

...well earlyish...... ;-)

Over three days I have cleared out the shed...and all the useless "just in case" stuff from behind the shed......chopped shrubs....well those I could reach and today cleared the attic and garage with the never has "come in handy" after all stuff.....

Doesn't it feel good when you've cleared a whole lot of space.....it's like the house can breathe...which is a bit more than I can.....I'm shattered.....so I am going to sit in the front garden with a glass of wine and toast the very full skip.....

And if anyone reading this wants to come and cook for me in exchange for a glass or two and a nose in my skip...please do..... ;-)

I made an early start on the vino today. We went to a bathroom showroom and then on to a country pub for a nice glass of merlot. I came home and started cooking a curry and now I'm on the fizz. I'm kinda in the holiday mood.

You're more than welcome to join us for some crispy duck and curried chicken. I have some of Aldi's cult Pinot Gris in the fridge.

I went down to my local Co-op store and looked at the wine. Then I reminded myself that
(a) I'm trying to save money ; and
(b) that I'm trying to minimise my alcohol consumption.

So I was strong and told myself "No!".

Now you've posted to remind me just how much I fancy a glass of wine, so I might have to head back down to the Co-op again.

So, as I said, I'm cursing you . . . and secretly loving you at the same time ;-)

Great! Had a massive clear out here last week, with other things also, it was a hard week. But, as you say, great when it's done! I bought two bottles of wine from Aldi today which are very nice, had a glass earlier while listening to some classical music through the speaker, then an audio book, as you say .. bliss!

I love audio books, Eleena.....I just love being told stories especially when the reader has a super voice....
Aldi has some cracking wines...I did have an offer from The Times that I couldn't refuse....the wine is arriving tomorrow...just right for the weekend....x
