It's ridiculous. He's not made any racist remarks or incited violence, all he has done is get dressed up for a fancy dress party. Anyway, I thought that imitation was the sincerest form of flattery?

Cheer up, dave.

Does this mean you'll have to re-think your outfit?

They'd have a field day with:
https://www.coconutters.co.uk/
It's racist because of the connotations from back in the day.. however i personally don't think it's racist, but as a white boy, my opinion doesn't matter apparently (which is surely racist?)
It isn't.
Hands off the Coconutters!!!!
I like them, jack - they cheer me up and make me smile
If I catch any black people dressing up as a white pensioner with a bad back and a dodgy beard then I'll be mortally offended ...

Snowflake Dave xx
I go to see them often.
My Dad's cousin is amongst their number.... :o)
Which one is he in the photo on their homepage?
A Bulgarian man !!! how dare he?
It's a wonder the woman didn't ask him what he was doing in 'her country' anyway.
He used to have a beard and I could tell the difference between him and the other chap with the beard......but he's shaved it off and I can't enlarge the photo enough to see which one he is.
They all look the same, to me..... :o)
Careful, jack....
LoL.... ;o)
It isn't racist.
don't see it as racist but what's the relevance to halloween?
I prefer this picture of coconuts.

I love these posts. How can people of any race other than the one which is being imitated say whether it is offensive or not?
Have they got lumbago?
ZM there is no question that the people(s) offended are the only ones to be able to say if they are or not.

That doesn't mean it isn't racist.. They can take offence personally, but that doesn't mean the individual is committing a racist act. If they are and are unaware of the fact that they are (IE, not intentional) then are they racist, or ignorant?
My Country, my rules, Zac.
