I am a great fan of the Die Hard movies - just seen Die Hard and Die Hard 2 in one day today ! Plan to watch Die Hard with a Vengence soon. Whats everyone fave Die Hard movie ? I think its hard to say as they all pretty good. Whats everyone elses view ?

Die hard With A Veston, but only because John is more laid back, and also it means I can always answer the question who was Chester A Arthur!

I think Die Hard 2 was the complete opposite of the original in terms of story and style.

The story is set in an open busy airport with John Maclane getting a little help from others to combat the terrorists, whereas in the first he challanged the terrorists as a one-man army in a sky scraper (with minor support of the twinky loving Al Powell). The film itself is very raw in terms of style and direction - lacking the slick suspense and style from the original.

Nevertheless, Die Hard 2 is a fast moving in-your-face action flick which is both explosive and entertaining keeping you drawn in the movie throughout with a nice twist towards the end. Willis is on top form as tough cop John Maclane and an exceptionally good effort from the director stepping in to make this sequal, Renny Harlin.

I think the original DH is by far the best. I actually found WAV a bit of a disappointment, missing Al P, Thornberg and Holly. I thought these were very important supplementary characters.

..I will always hold a place in my ...errr ...heart... for Bruce Willis in a vest... original was best, closley followed by DH2....

I think that i heard that Bruce Willis is making another die hard at the moment, is that true, i like all of them.

Yes he is making another one Loocfox, Die Hard 4.0. Meant to be out in 2006 - BW and his son get caught up in a terrorist plot apparently. Should be worth watching, the others were good
