Oh, that has made me sad.

I saw him live in Montreal a couple of years ago, he was absolutely magic, sauntering on stage with one of what I am sure is a collection of elaborate walking sticks, he gave a show of slow-burning New Orleans blues and soul, another sad loss to music.

Really sad news, he was fantastic. I *know* I saw this on TV ages ago - it wasn't this version, but the "act" always stayed in my memory. Skip to around a minute into the clip -
