Cant Imagine The Anguish

At work today we noticed (on the cctv monitor) the amount of police cars/vans circling around outside. Sometime after we had the police come in to our warehouse and found out why. Two kids..brother and sister... aged 5+11 had gone missing.
As a parent, I just cant imagine the horror of ur kids going missing like that.
Ive had my gripes with the police over the years but bloody hell, these guys were searching everywhere (even had a look in our 'back garden')
Hope they found them safe and well.
Just cant imagine been a parent in that situation.
(We rewound and replayed all our cctv images but nada)

A child is reported missing every three minutes in the UK. Fortunately the vast majority of them turn up OK.

Nothing's showing up on news sites for your area, Nailit, so it would seem likely that those youngsters were reunited with their parents fairly quickly.

I would like to see news that they've been found. It seems that every summer holiday, something happens to one child or another.

With 500 kids reported missing every day, the vast majority of cases will never be covered by the media. It's only those cases where a child has been missing for quite some time (or, perhaps, when there's a specific reason to believe that a child might have been abducted) that get into the press.

If there are no new reports relating to the two missing children Nailit refers to, it would seem safe to assume that they were found fairly quickly.

I know in my area if a child or vulnerable person is reported missing all taxi firms are alerted.
