When we become the 51st state of the USA
Would we keep “The United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland”
Or would we need to change it to something else?
And if so what would you suggest we change it to?
;)
Not that either is likely to happen but I would far rather the UK be the 51st state of the USA than the 28th State of the EU.
Those who voted to remain in Scotland and NI together represent around 4% of the UK electorate and I'm not overly keen on the idea that those 4% should be considered in any way special. Both of those provinces are constituent parts of the UK. They gain huge advantages from that union, far in excess of anything they could hope to achieve were they independent nations. If the price of leaving the EU is the break up of the UK then so be it. The Union doesn't particularly do much for England though I don't for one minute believe that will happen because the electorate in those minor constituents know which side their bread is buttered.
Steg, the trouble with this type of communication is that it carries no feeling. It's just black and white, so people take it more or less as they see it.
//The big fear was Hitler, then came Thatcher ,now we have Johnson , Backed up by the Idiot Trump, God in heaven, if you are there help us all.//
I think you make yourself look a little foolish (not that you have to try too hard) if you bracket Margaret Thatcher, Donald Trump and Boris Johnson together with Adolf Hitler.
