What's on the CD? If music, pictures, just open it and transfer across to the required folders

It's a music Cd. I have loads of music on my computer somewhere but at the moment I can't think how to access that music and how to add this cd to it.
can you do a search for music? Or for the title of a song you know is on your computer somewhere?

What I used to do is put a Cd onto the computer and save it somehow so that I could at a later date put some of the songs onto a USB stick to play in my car, but my mind has just gone a complete blank.
Open Windows Media Player.

Insert CD into computer drive.

Click the 'Rip CD' button.
