Actually, he wrote it for his then girlfriend Annette Funicello, but ended up recording it himself. :-)

I didn't say he didn't Jim. The version that was the biggest hit was probably Donny's. The song was covered by Donny and others and if you add together all the sales they may exceed Diana and the others. Depends what the setter wants.
