Ageing Rock Stars

Some age, some dont!
Mark knopfler (Dire Straits) aged considerably since the 80s. (one year ago)
While some don't. (Roger Daltry, 5 yrs ago)

My father was an old man before his time, died before he reached Daltry's age and yet Daltry keeps on rockin'.

Looks like he was born with Botox lips and it all leaked out. Still moves well, though

I think Knopfler looks worse than he is because he's lost his hair. Look at James Taylor or Billy Joel nowadays. They suffer the same.

Lifestyle plays a part - a lot of rock stars live in the proverbial fast lane, and manage the experiences of several lifetimes during their lifetimes.

As for Hwel Bennett, I believe he had a drink problem which assisted his ageing and premature death.

Moral of the story...
take shed loads of drugs, huge quantities of intoxicating substances, eat what you want and induldge in loads of promiscuous sex, drugs and rock n roll and not only will you live for eons but become a god as well!

I think that (Having read Ozzy's autobiography...as if he wrote it himself) his preservatives consisted of copious amounts of pills and alcohol
