I'm trying to find out if Julie Andrews ever released a single of The Sound of Music please? If so, was it a hit in the singles charts in the UK?

Forgot to ask, if there was a single, was it called The Sound of Music of The Hills are Alive.
Can't find any reference to a single release of this track Barsel, chart or otherwise.

Me neither. I know there was an album, I remember I bought it, but I don't know how to find out if any of the tracks were released as singles.
A single release would most likely be listed on discogs.

And if it had charted it would appear on chart records, which it doesn't.
Question Author
Thought I found it on one of the sites I was looking at, but it was The Sound of Silence! :-)
It was on an EP released in 1966 but doubt it charted.

That's interesting Mamya, I didn't see that. I'm pretty sure the album charted, in the album charts of course. I was hoping someone on here might have just bought the single, if it was released.
Here's Julie Andrews' singles discography. Dispite a few from TSOM, nothing seems to fit your title.

Mozz I think you may have cracked it. On your link in 1966 it says The Sound of Music (10 versions) the first one is the EP and then it says 7" but I don't know if that is a single or an LP. Can you take a look and let me know what you think please?
7" is the traditional vinyl single size Barsel, so all those would've been 45rpm singles.
Question Author
Thanks Mozz.
Yup, that's definitely a old style single. It wasn't a hit single to my knowledge, but I'll double check for you.
EPs were 7" and ran at 33 and a third - that's what the link is referring to I believe. There are four tracks.
Apologies - I was looking at the other release.
My instinct was right, Ms Andrews has never appeared on the UK singles chart. A couple of albums, but that's all.
