Does anyone know of any rock bands that have covered traditional christmas songs? As i want to listen to christmas songs just with a bit more tune in them. x

There are CDs called Merry Axemas and some by Gary Hoey that are just what you are after. more on http://www.roughedge.com/features/xmasmetal99.htm. Sorry can't do links, can anyone tell me how to?

thanx i love gary hoey didn't know he did christmas songs i must be thick lol cheers now i can listen to some GOOD christmas songs lol xx
Smokie have a Christmas album of traditional Christmas songs (including 'A Winters Tale' with harmonies to die for!!). It's called "The Christmas Album" or "Light a Candle" depending on which country it was issued in. I got mine on Amazon. Happy Christmas!
Stiff Little Fingers did White Christmas - I think it's on their greatest hits
Stryper did a cover of Winter Wonderland. Cheesey but good.
