I'v heard on the telly that it is supposed to be about his "failure" to break America, but watching the video and listening to the lyrics I cant get past elvis.
Question Author
yes thats what i thought and he's not releasing this album over there so i guess he's not bothered about breaking America
Another reason he isnt releasing this album in the US is because he likes his anonimity over there.
Definitely about Elvis, have seen the video but if you listen to the lyrics you will know but I wonder if Robbie is perhaps comparing his own life a little, to Elvis.
I have no doubt in my mind that Robbie is egotistic enough to compare himself to Elvis. After seeing the 'take that' docu it confirmed my suspicions of him being smug, ingraciating and ungrateful

Still does good music tho!!
No he doesn't. People just buy his cr*p records these days because of who he is not what the record is actually like!!

Oh yes sorry i forgot i spend 10 on his albums each time he brings one out because he's Robbie Williams not because i like to listen to his music!!

How silly of me i have been brainwashed by the media into liking him along with everyone else!! Oh damn best ask for that 40 back for the concert that i went to and think i enjoyed but cant have done cos it was Robbie

Whatever! why cant people just accept that some people actually like his music and leave them to it. They always have to have their 2 pennies worth.

He used to make great pop songs and there is no doubting his talent as a concert entertainer but if someone fairly unknown had released his recent singles/album it wouldn't have made the top 40 because, frankly, it's not very good.

Why can't people accept that just because people buy and listen to music it doesn't mean it is very good. Cheeky girls anyone?

Question Author

Accept your point Gevs espec about the cheeky girls! but i like his songs and that is my opinion if everyone else doesnt like them, fair enough, but its when they start insulting my intelligence by telling me that i buy them just becaues its Robbie that i dont like

Anyway Merry Xmas everyone!
