Upl.co used to be very popular among AB members because, when images were uploaded to it, they were actually displayed to people following a link (rather than requiring the file to be downloaded and opened in an image viewer), as well as allowing other files (such as documents, etc) to be hosted there too. Alas though, that site is now also defunct.
I used to use dl.free.fr for hosting my crossword files for AB members to download (even though it was in French) but that file-hosting facility is now only available to people in France who use the company as their ISP.
My current favourite file-hosting site is Easyupload. There's no need to register and no limit on the number of times a file can be downloaded. The maximum file size allowed is very generous too, at 10 GB. (The only real restriction for users of their free service is that files are only retained for 30 days):
https:/ /easyup load.io
The one exception to that is when I need a file-hosting site for images. Then, like many other ABers, I use ImgBB:
https:/ /imgbb. com

Mimecast isn't a file-sharing site, per se. It provides (among many other things) a cloud archiving service (very roughly akin to Microsoft's OneDrive), from where files can be made accessible to others if required. While it may have its uses for big companies, it has little to offer to private individuals (who almost certainly couldn't afford to pay its prices either!).
