Yes.
Probably.

Not by me though, I don't really like festivals, and only attend on a professional basis - i.e. being paid to be there.

I would delete Suede and The Smiths/Morrisey from your line-up and insert Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers, and Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac,
Youd have to add Abba
I'm sure that I could revise my list umpteen times but, off the top of my head . . .

1. Dire Straits
2. Queen
3. The Who
4. The Rolling Stones
5. Amy Winehouse
6. Lindisfarne
7. Dolly Parton
8. Buena Vista Social Club
9. Johnny Cash
10. Van Morrison
Yes.

Prince and Queen are missing.
This is hard to beat ;-)

I like Chris's line-up, but I'd have to have Led Zeppelin instead of Dire Straits.
Keep Dire Straits, add Pink Floyd, Supertramp (if outdoor), Bruce Springsteen (def outdoor) taking out Cash, Buena Vista and Dolly and then Lindisfarne or Genesis playing with Eric C.
This...it's just so evocative of a time and place long gone, very bittersweet.

Like Chris, I could have a different Festival every day of the week; but I'll go with these for now.

1 Beach Boys
2 The Who
3 Judi Tzuke - fantastic live at festivals
4 Neil Young in any or all of his guises
5 ZZ Top
6 Dusty Springfield
7Queen
8 Traveling Wilburys
9 Yes Ma'am (New Orleans street band - awesome)
10 Barclay James Harvest, but they MUST be last act on and very late at night, would be ethereal).
My OH's:

1. Led Zeppelin
2. Oasis
3. Rolling Stones
4. Prince
5. Michael Jackson
6. Wham
7. Nirvana
8. The Beatles
9. Queen
10. Elvis Presley

Excellent :)
Thanks choux. Saw Judie about 10 years ago, still singing that song beautifully but her repertoire is far, far more extensive and varied.
Welcome to the Cruise is indeed a wonderful album but, as Capt say, by no means representative of her entire body of work. Excellent artist.
The Beatles
Roy Orbison
The Beach Boys
Dire Straits
Garth Brooks
Bon Jovi
John Denver
The Hollies
Elvis Presley
Take That
1, The Cult
2. The Clash
3. Joy division
4. The Eagles
5. Squeeze
6. CCR
7. ELO
8. Jean Michel Jarre
9. Earth wind and fire
10. Squeeze
I take it you like Squeeeze webbo-
I seen them live along time ago
Squeeze are brilliant, one band I wish I had seen.
I'd swop 5 and 10 round on your line up webbo. Hopefully Jules would make an appearance. I saw them as a teenager in 1979
