Beatles Over Rated

The Beatles in my opinion are probably the most over rated band EVER followed closely and in no order by the Rolling Stones, The Doors, Led Zepplin, Oasis, U2

I thoroughly agree! The Kinks were far superior and so were their lyrics. Rolling Stones should have rolled away long ago. The Doors only had one decent hit. I like Good Charlotte, their lyrics are great!

I like The Beatles and REM (mentioned in your other post) but I can take or leave all the others. Don't dislike them particularly, just don't think they're all that great.

I agree wholeheartedly with Celtigra3 about the mighty Kinks - Ray Davies is my all time songwriting hero.

Thank you for your answer littleoldme (i knew i would get stick over that question) it is actually for my wife who sings it to our six month old daughter holly when she is trying to get her to sleep as for good Charlotte, I can take them or leave them prefer to leave them though any way thank you once again
