In those day, Ralph wasn't exactly playing the big venues ;-) http://kernowbeat.co.uk/folkcottage.html I saw him at Sheffield City Hall during my first year at college ('71/'72) though, so he was doing a bit better by then! His guitar style is still very recognisable after all those years:
