its a film about a bunch of prisoners, who escape after an ex military person gets imprisoned himself and they follow "phases" to be successful in the end. They are always building a wall throughout the film. the title, i think has the word "castle" in it and it stars robert renford, i think plz help! and if you can tell me who directed it and when it was made etc. thx!

The film is the last castle staring Robert Redford and James Gandolfini ( sapranos ) it was released in 2001 by dreamworks directed by Rod Lurie, produced by Don Zepfel and Robert Lawrence.

About a disgraced general who is sent to a milatery prison that is run by a colonel who respects the ex General but soon comes to hate him, a cracking film !
