I was feeling a bit nostalgic for the two times I went in the late 80s so ‘tuned in’ tonight. All those kids, including the wonderful Billie Eilish, weren’t even a twinkle when I last went
I felt so old. I’ll have to wait for Diana Ross and Paul McCartney to get on stage before I feel relatively young again.
Anyone watching? Memories etc?

It's really only in recent years that I've 'got into' music, so I missed out on gigs and festivals. (I was brought up in a 'classical music only' house. The nearest to pop music I ever heard in my early years was Gilbert and Sullivan! I then became the geek at college who, when everyone else was wearing jeans and sweatshirts, always wore a collar and tie. The 'gigs' I attended were concerts by the Hallé Orchestra, the Vienna Boys Choir, The Spinners and Ralph McTell. So I wasn't exactly 'in the groove' musically!).
These days I've got very eclectic musical tastes and there's usually something that I can really enjoy in the Glasto coverage.

Wouldn't you find searching for your daughter and her partner a distraction from the music though, Pasta?
I think that might be a bit like when I go to the theatre and (through having worked on stage lighting myself) I then find myself studying all of the lighting changes, rather than following the action!
