Thanks to both of you. I don't think that Rivaud's father was named in the TV version. But, once you know that his name was Samuel Meyer (Rivaud changed his name to distance himself from his father) then the credits give the name. Btw, it was a bit far-fetched for Rivaud to kill his father. Couldn't he have just had him put into an asylum? Many episodes of Maigret end up with nobody going on trial. And why change the place in the title from Bergerac to Vervac? No such place on Google Maps, but Mauriac, where Maigret got off his train, does exist.
