Bernard Cribbins

I can't find a thread on this anywhere so I will start one:

star of dr who, the wombles, jackanory, old jack's boat, and many a carry on film bernard cribbins is dead at the age of 93

as well as acting, bernard released some novelty songs- most notably right said fred, gossip calypso and hole in the wall which are really fun songs, not to everyone's taste, but I like them.

I am heartbroken to hearabout this. bernard was, to me, an icon
we love you and will never forget you, old jack.

Yes he was a very good actor and comedian but the song was "Hole in the Ground "

emily, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Bernard reading all 10 episodes of Wind in the Willows at the weekend. So many characterisations just show-cased his abilities. It is available on the iPlayer for over a year. I hope some of you will listen and enjoy:
