As I've managed to stay single, I can't really post a video that fits exactly with what Bobbi's asking for. However I'm reminded of my my first girlfriend at college, Viv, who I ditched at the end of the first term when I discovered that I was the only person in our year group who she'd not bothered to tell about our engagement! Up until then, this was always 'our'...

I have just remembered the song my parents danced to at their wedding - I only have eyes for you by the flamingos.
My second marriage in Canada coincided with MrG's decision to extend his contract and for us to stay or return to England. I said the decision was his.
He played this at our reception to let me know.

Haha , love it Gness
My third marriage happened because Dave fell in love with an Irish girl who could sing this in Irish in a pub in Mayo. It became ours and was played at our wedding in D O's pub here.

My favourite rendition of Silent Night is sung by Sinead , makes the hairs on my arms stand up
Love listening to her, Bobbi. Knowing the life she's had I feel for her and what she's gone through. A kind and a more forgiving person than I could ever be.
Question Author
Oh I might download her biography to my Kindle Gness , did she at one time become a Nun?
She has a very confused history, Bobbi. Not sure that becoming a nun was part of it. She detests Catholicism as much as I do and with good reason. You can find lots to read about her but it's harrowing and won't do your BP any good!
Question Author
I’ll work on the BP then read it after that Gness ;0))
She became a Muslim, Bobbs.
Question Author
Why do I think I’ve seen her in a Nuns habit with her hands in prayer?
I'd leave it til then, Bobbi. I don't read biographies but I have read lots about her and watched interviews. Lots of sadness at the hands of others. Great voice though!
That was in a vid for one of her songs - quite controversial as i recall.

Arh right,thanks Ken
My favourite genre of books Gness ( both autobiography’s and biography’s )
She was once ordained a priest by some Catholic sect, Bobbi. Maybe it was then you saw the picture. Later converted to Islam. Lost soul searching I guess, and I can see why.
She did rip up, on stage, a picture of the Pope as a protest against abuse. Caused a fuss. As did my planting in my garden the plaster statue of Our Lady that I spent, as a child, far too many hours on my knees praying to as a punishment for.....well never really knew what for. :-)
Her Muslim name is Shuhada Sadaqat
I was reminded of this recently Bobbi, when Olivia Newton John died.
It was her... "I Honestly Love You".

Being a fully paid-up member of The Sap of the Month Club, I made my feelings known.

It didn't take though :o(
