Re. In the Bleak Mid-Winter, we are rehearsing the Harold Darke version for our Carols by Candlelight on 21st - all 4 of us. It is a truly beautiful piece of music and we hope we do it justice. We've all sung it before, but with larger choirs. Perhaps its as well that there isn't a recording of us! :) Seriously, look it up.

Unfortunately not, gness, just always liked the blend of their voices and that they sing in their Northumberland accents

I can't do music links unfortunately but one of my favourites is Winter's Tale by David Essex and I just heard One More Sleep by Leona Lewis which is good. Neither of the above get overplayed.

Ah...I thought you might, GG. I only discovered them through my folky friends who have been close friends of theirs for many years. We'd go to see them often and sometimes meet for a hello when I was in the UK. Lovely family and beautiful voices.
