It was about 8 yrs ago for me, in Lanzarote , OMG did the bed spin with the huge measures , Stop this bed I wanna get off, then I was sick and normal services resumed ;0/

The same again plus falling over as soon as you lurch in the front door? Can't remember getting home?

Bobbi, oh yeah I had a problem, a serious one. Full-blown alcoholic. My OH is a recovering alcoholic too, so we helped each other out. I was putting away a 70cl bottle of vodka and up to 6 litres of 7.5% cider away every day. It's one of the reasons why I'm diabetic and will be on strong pain medication for the rest of my life.

I don't mind you asking about it, or being critical, I was completely lost back then. I know a fair few people on AB had to put up with me too. Sorry about that everyone.

New Years Eve probably about fifteen years ago now, evening in pub then back to a friend's house for some sort of blue punch, fell asleep on her armchair and woke up covered in puke!

There are people on AB that helped me through some pretty bad times. I'll never forget how supportive some people on here were. I'm eternally grateful for that support. You know who you all are :)

Anyway, I'll shush now, I don't want to hijack this thread. To bring it back to the topic of conversation, I think it was about 10 years ago when I was nicely drunk yet still in control. I was relaxing, drinking some of the stubby lagers (bier) I brought back from France.
