Dodgy Phone Call
6 Answers
Just had a call from a man with an authentic Scottish accent telling me that there has been activity on my Visa account in the last 20 minutes, giving three large amounts and asking if they were genuine. I'm a suspicious person and let him chat for a few minutes; he gave my correct address and said that 'they' had used my mother's maiden name. I asked him what this was, but he 'didn't have that information ' . Well maybe not, but at this point I said that I wasn't trusting him on this and I would call my bank to confirm. Surprise, the call was cut immediately.
I was tempted to log on to bank account to notify them what had happened, but then thought it could possibly be monitored so will hold fire on that.
How do these people sleep at nights? Have they no conscience?
