the music or song is! On Classic FM at 5.42 - 5.44 ish this afternoon there was a piece of music that I recognised as a theme tune for something but cannot for the life of me think what it was - is there a way of finding out?
The pompous fool that was Simon Bates never back-announced anything, and he often played tracks twice in a row if he liked them, and then the next day, and still you could miss what it was!
Yes that is it TTT - I knew it was something well known but had a mental block. Ok now for something a little more difficult! On Sunday evening around 9 ish maybe 9.30 (can't remember as I was driving home) there was a piece of music and I missed what they said it was but the chorussy bit sounded like (and I wanted to sing!) 'two lovely black eyes'! If you can imagine humming the tune to that. Any ideas?
If you use the link above to the Classic fm playlist, you can go to the day/ date and the show and see everything they played. If you don't know the title copy some of them to a youtube search until you find the one you want.
No that's not it. Is there somewhere you can listen to the whole show again? I am afraid I am not very familiar with radio - only ever have it on in the van and have to keep swapping stations because the signal is usually poor or the presenters do my head in.
Know what you mean. I have Classic FM tuned in, in the car at present (DAB). I check for info on the composer, music, & performer, and apoarently it is always an individual called "Light" continuing to play a piece called "Classical".
Always worth a web search for the station name and the word "playlist" if you have data access.
