Have You Stopped Listening To R2/R4?
22 Answers
It appears that R4 has lost 1.2m listeners in 12 months.
I have never listened to R4, R2 sometimes but not for a few years so has it really changed that much so quickly?
I do listen to Boom, its very easy listening in the background without the inane chatter from the likes of Holden going on.
I know it CB (as I dont want it to be a political rant) but here's a link for some background https:/ /www.da ilymail .co.uk/ news/ar ticle-1 2096309 /BBC-Ra dio-4-s een-1-2 million -people -stop-t uning-1 2-month s-attem pts-mod ernise. html

Tony Blackburn and Rylan are the only ones I really enjoy and Johnny Walker for the music but not his monotone voice reading out a script as he tends to get to the end of a line then realise there is the rest of the sentence on the next line. I liked the Gold 50s 60s 70s station but can't seem to find that on my new car radio.
