I Wonder Why This Number Is Rising So...

So in 2009 when I was 15, my class whent on a trip to Washington DC. Their was a guide there who did everything with us. One night after we had dinner at a restaurant, when the class left, he kept me behind, and sat with me at a table. I was incredibly socially awkward at that time. He asks me "why don't you ever smile?". I suppose it's because I've always had really bad anxiety, and it's hard for me to enjoy myself, let alone smile. anyways, I just respond with an "ummm uhhh" I had no idea what to say. He goes "next time I talk to you is when you're 20". He just got up and left. After that I almost felt like crying out of anger. I'm 30 years old, and I still think about it.
